I would like to know how it was possible to measure the activity of FIX injected in monkeys as it is supposed that cyno FIX will interfere with the assay.

FIX activity was analyzed with a 1-stage clotting assay based on human reagents. In fact, this assay shows some cross-reaction with cynomolgus FIX activity.
FIX activity results were corrected for the baseline FIX activity found in cynomolgus monkeys before injection of recombinant FIX.
